STATE FARM
To support State Farm’s “Born to Assist” ad campaign (featuring the LA Clippers’ Chris Paul and his fictitious twin brother Cliff), we created a system of graphics that ran in USA Today, on the back cover of the 2013 NBA All-Star Game program, and on the video displays in Times Square. The ads featured a custom typographic ambigram, which is a pictogram that reads the same right-side-up and upside-down.
LAKOU MIZIK “HAITIANOLA”
Following up on a string of successful tours and festival appearances, Haiti’s Lakou Mizik posted up in New Orleans in late 2018, soaking up the city’s rich culture and music scene. Recorded in both Haiti and New Orleans, their new album HaitiaNola is a groove-oriented mix of traditional Haitian Rara music and New Orleans Creole funk. Featuring an all-star cast of guest musicians from Arcade Fire, The Neville Brothers, and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, this album promises to rocket Lakou Mizik into the upper echelons of the world music genre.
WÜNDER BEVERAGES
While these cans didn’t make the final cut, we worked with the good people at Wünder Beverages to develop brand identity and packaging concepts for their new line of low-dose cannabis beverages.
RAW HAIR ORGANICS
A line of 100% organic hair care products that are formulated to beautify any type of hair. We worked with Raw Hair to develop their brand identity, print collateral and product packaging.
ST. JOSEPH ASPIRIN
This redesign of the iconic low-strength chewable aspirin packaging was meant to invoke childhood nostalgia for a generation who grew up on this creamsicle-flavored pain reliever.
NATURAL DRIVE ELIXIRS
Featuring a proprietary blend of herbs and botanicals, Natural Drive elixirs provide a potent libidinal kick for both men and women. We worked with Natural Drive to create their brand identity and packaging system.
SIERRA LEONE'S REFUGEE ALL-STARS
Discovered in a refugee camp in Guinea in 2004, The Refugee All-Stars are a band of Sierra Leonean musicians that have come to international fame as the voice of the dispossessed in their home country. The 2005 documentary film Sierra Leone's Refugee All-Stars brought their plight into the homes and theaters of the world, and their inspiring story led to several worldwide tours and slots on major music festivals. We worked with the filmmakers on several aspects of the film design, as well as creating a custom font, soundtrack packaging, and tour merchandise (including the t-shirt above, as modeled by a British guy that used to be in a band).
